So, are you a musician, a performance artist, a video artist or what? I am simply and humbly an artist. Different concepts lend themselves to different ways of being expressed.	What the heck is performance art anyway? I like to think of it (at least what I do) as theatre from a visual arts tradition- as opposed to a dramatic tradition.
I don't get "modern" art- why should I be interested in your work? I'm not asking you to get it (at least not entirely). Conceptual work is just that- conceptual. There is a symbolic language that all artists use- you have to see it before you can get into it.		Why do you stay in (northern) Minnesota? Aren't there more opportunities in a more metropolitan area? I have been fortunate to do most of my "living" here and about half of my performances in larger markets. Just because it's rural, doesn't mean there isn't an audience.
